This academic appointment is open for nominations

Under the Academic Physician Engagement Initiative 2024, our Michigan Chapter is seeking nominations to chair this important position. As part of the candidate selection criteria, this academic position appointment will require an Executive Committee vote. The candidate must have an academic track record, including but not limited to academic journal publications; be able to deliver claimable AMA-accredited live CME; mentor our young physicians in residency programs toward fellowship aspirations; and provide guidance. Also, head the Journal Club and mediate Board Review modules.

As a non-profit 501 (c) (3) accredited organization, we, in the appointed leadership roles, shall take a consultative and actionable approach to overcome social, religious, and cultural biases to make our Pakistani Physician Community more cohesive and confident in whatever they want to achieve.

For these programs to be successful, Pakistani physicians are encouraged to get involved with their Great State of Michigan Chapter. This academic initiative will strengthen our Physician Community.
